Maple cream.

I observed an extraordinary feat recently. I was lucky enough to witness a cousin exhibiting her fluency in assorted filled chocolates. Without availing herself of the map or legend usually provided on the box, she can look at a piece of chocolate and describe what delightful surprise awaits you. How wondrous and enviable it is to have such powers.

That is a pretty cool trick! I can only pick out the ones with the cherry center. I learned that one early on because I cannot stand chocolate cherries - blech! The cherries don't even taste like they even come from fruit.

Edna, did you ever hear how they make mariachino (sp?) cherries? They let them dry in huge open vats up north. They get acid rained on, bird pooped on, etc. I've never been sure if the cherries in the chocolate cherries are mariachino cherries, but they taste similar, so I avoid them. I have this thing about eating bird poop. Blechh. Oh, in order to think of an alias for you, can you tell me if you have any quirks?

Me, have quirks? Certainly not - I'm perfect! But, if you were to ask my sisters, I'm sure they could come up with a couple dozen of them ;-)

Let's see...I guess the most obvious quirk is that I am a huge smartass. Always have been, always will be.

Another quirk - I could talk about food-related topics all day. Restaurants, meals (good and bad), preparation, cooking shows, cookbooks...well, you get the idea!

Hmmm...I'm thinking of something along the lines of "Unabashed Smartass" or "The Glib Gourmand". What do you think? I'm not sure I've quite gotten it, but I think I'm getting closer!

Well, I put your name through some various name generators and your Dungeons and Dragons name would be Lady Eilaga Arborshate the Legendary, your Hong Kong role playing game name would be either Lilith Wei or Smilin' Franki Zheng. Your cat name would be Kumquat. Any of those sound good? You know, another name for a gourmand is an epicure. Can you do anything with Epicure?

Using the online auction model that has proven so incredibly successful with individuals, the best sites allow buyers to bid against one another for overstock.
